Sharing Christ’s Healing & Forgiveness

For if while we were enemies we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, now that we are reconciled, shall we be saved by his life.”    (Rom 5:10)

In February, John visited Rwanda to meet church leaders and parishioners in this small but growing  confession Lutheran church.  Read our newsletter to learn more.

While visiting a church in Rwanda, neighborhood youth performed a cultural event for us, complete with drums and dancers.

We passed through a few different districts while visiting churches in Rwanda. Each district has a statue that signifies what the district is known for.  Rwamagana is ‘a place of a hundred things’ in Kinyarwanda, as it contains the word ‘magana’ a word meaning ‘one-hundred’

Final pics of the year. Top: In March, John joins fellow missionaries and ELCK church leaders for the fourth annual State of Project 24 Forum. Bottom left: John brings greetings to the Project 24 Forum from US advocates and supporters of Project 24 and Christ’s Care for Children-Kenya. Bottom right:  Ian, Sean, Thad, and Anna were involved in a local  production of Don Quixote. Anna and a friend are ready for their pirate dance.
