Helge (Czech Republic) Update – May, June & July 2023

Our dear supporters, prayer warriors and friends,

Děkujeme mockrát, thank you very much! Thank you for your continued support and prayers!

“And when Jesus came to the place, he looked up and said to him, ‘Zacchaeus, hurry and come down, for I must stay at your house today.'” (Luke 19:5, ESV) As you’ll read in our newsletter, God gave us the opportunity to share with local youth on this text from the story of Zaccaeus. The good news is this: Christ Jesus sees us and comes to us. Before we can even say a word, He enters our lives bringing His gifts of forgiveness, mercy and grace. It was necessary for Jesus to go to the cross, suffer, die and rise again. By grace through faith we are saved. And this is the message we all get to share each and every day, not just here in the Czech Republic, but also from wherever you may happen to be reading this. We thank God for sending us here and for giving us wonderful partners in the sharing of the Gospel.

Our Heavenly Father, thank you for wholly defeating sin, death and the devil. We praise You as the true and only God.

Thank you for every child, volunteer, interpreter and parent that heard the Good News at English Bible Camps. Grow the seeds that were planted and connect these people to your church.

We gift you thanks for all volunteers who gave of their time and finances to serve various communities for the sake of Your Gospel. Use them to encourage others in sharing the message of Christ crucified and risen with all.

You have given us songs of joy and praise in our hearts. Continue to grant memorable melodies and texts that buildup and encourage Your church.

Grow little Viktor in faith and protect him from all harm. Spread your Gospel even through him as he begins to speak and as he shares smiles of joy.

Finally, Lord, we pray for peace. We pray for the war in Ukraine to end. Give peace, O God. Give peace. In the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.

Amen.
