Isn’t it strange how this year is playing out? Did we ever expect a lot of the things that have happened in the first half of 2020? Is life on the mission field ever simplistic and follow the plan that is laid out? How many hairs really are on my head? The power in the Dominican Republic goes out frequently. That doesn’t stop us from getting together and celebrating small victories, like this Sunday night when the curfew was finally pushed back and we could gather for evening meals again! Although on this day, we ate ice cream before dinner so it wouldn’t melt due to the inability to keep it cold. Why isn’t ice cream always offered an appetizer!?
