Matthew, Kali, Laurel, Eleanor, and Caroline serve in Medan, Indonesia with LCMS International. Matthew supports The Indonesian Christian Lutheran Church, by mentoring pastors, providing continuing education, and overseeing translation projects.

Sharing the Faith.
Kali and I took the kids to a Christmas party at our language school. It was a great opportunity to get to know the people and the culture here. It also turned out to be a great opportunity to share the Good News of Jesus Christ. Matthew was asked to stand and talk about the family’s Christmas tradition. He was taken a bit by surprise, but jumped at the opportunity to talk about Jesus read more in the newsletter and as always, there are more updates available on seaside!

- Thanksgiving! We have completely finished the visa process for this year.
- Thanksgiving for safe travel to Taiwan and Singapore.
- Continued language acquisition.
- Peace during the holiday season.
- That Laurel and Caroline form friendships here in Indonesia.
- For the GKLI and her continued faithfulness.
