Greetings fellow redeemed in Christ!

I pray that this message finds you well. I am sending a different type of news than I have in the past, yet I hope that it will suffice as a general update for all that has been happening over this past year. It is a slight rewrite of an annual report that I produced about two months ago. Feel free to pass it along to others as you see fit.

Some of you may be more interested in listening to a spotlight of the mission work here. Our missionary team was able to host two short-term teams this past summer, both which brought relatives of my family to the country (my cousin and pastor, Weston, and my Aunt Beverly). You can listen to the interview by clicking the link, or if you enjoy listening to podcasts, you can find it in the podcast “The Coffee Hour from KFUO Radio.”

Belize Mission Update: Would you like to learn more about recent events on the mission field in Belize? Our LCMS Missionary, Rev. Micah Wildauer, recently had an interview with KFUO Radio’s “The Coffee Hour” and two of his relatives who served on short-term teams. Listen now by going to kfuo.org and typing “Belize” into the search. Or search your favorite podcast app for “The Coffee Hour” and “Short-Term Mission to Belize.”

In my last update, I mentioned that Seminarian Jason Groth and his family were called to Belize as fellow church planters. He has since accepted the call, has been ordained, and is currently in the process of raising awareness of his call among the people in the LCMS prior to his projected deployment in January. Their family will spend four months of orientation in the Dominican Republic with an anticipated arrival in Belize in April or May. Our family is excited for their arrival as the Groths have four children about the same age as our family. You can learn more about them by visiting www.lcms.org/groth.

The Lord’s richest blessings to you as we close out this current church year. Isn’t it great to be a part of the elect in Christ? We have a hope that this world cannot equal, a peace that passes all understanding, and a Savior who abides with us through all things.

Christ’s peace be yours in abundance,

Rev. Micah Wildauer & Family
