WHAT DISTRICT PRESIDENT WOULD TRAVEL ALL THE WAY FROM ALEXANDRIA, VIRGINIA AND BRING A REAL MISSIONARY WITH HIM TO THIS PLACE IN THE MIDDLE OF NOWHERE?  TRULY SOME FOLKS THAT ARE TOTALLY AND COMPLETELY “NOT NORMAL”!!!!

As soon as these special guests arrived at the Lord’s Mission Central, I could tell IMMEDIATELY THAT THEY WERE “NOT NORMAL”!!!  It was amazing to old Missionary Gary, that this District President was a lot like Presidents Turner and Snow from Iowa West and Nebraska!  His name is Missionary President Bill Harmon…and BOY DOES HE EVER “GET IT”!!  President Pastor Bill Harmon is in the light blue shirt, and you can see him in the picture with our Boss here at Mission Central and down by our sign.

 

The other person in the dark blue shirt is Rev. Miguel Torneire from the SE District of our LCMS.  We had a wonderful visit and are praying that God mightily blesses the work of Rev. Torneire as a Hispanic domestic evangelist who reaches out to Hispanic people in the Southeastern District who do not know or trust in Jesus.  These dear friends spent 4 hours here for discussions and a special tour of the facilities here that the Lord has provided!  We will never, never forget this special time together!  The Lord is still “CALLING PEOPLE” at just the right time to carry out HIS work.  Please pray for these two special missionaries for the Lord Jesus!
