We invite you to prayerfully consider a gift in support of the LCMS and her mission by becoming one of our “mission senders”!

Reformation 2022: We traveled to the capital and participated in worship with lutherans from around the Dominican Republic. This was a big trip for Rafa, and his first time out of the house and on a long card ride since having his surgery about a month before Reformation.

November 5, 2022 marked the 17th wedding anniversary of Pastor Yban and his wife, Marta, and they celebrated by having a long-overdue church wedding! 17 years ago, they were married in a legal ceremony, but at that time there were not members of a church, the first Lutheran missionaries hadn’t even arrived to the DR at that point! 17 years later, and Pastor Yban is the pastor of one of our 5 congregations here in the Dominican Republic. Rafa was honored to be asked to be the best man at the ceremony.
