THE LORD IS STILL “CALLING” PEOPLE AT JUST THE RIGHT TIME TO CARRY OUT HIS WORK OF SENDING MISSIONARIES AROUND THE WORLD!
What a JOY and blessing to have the help of special “not normal” people who did come together to help mail out our Annual Thanksgiving Mailing. Yes, here at the Lord’s Mission Central we MAKE ONLY ONE MAILING A YEAR TO THANK OUR CO-WORKERS FOR THEIR LOVE, PRAYERS AND SUPPORT FOR THE ENTIRE YEAR.
Volunteer Kathryn Sprecher from Des Moines, Iowa has been so faithful to head up this special effort that involved 24 individual volunteers from 9 congregations! The total number of hours to complete the tasks of stuffing envelopes, applying the stamps, compiling the envelopes and then delivering nearly 8,000 letters to the post office in Des Moines…..a total of 133 hours of labor was required to complete this special task of love!
These dear volunteers are part of the Thanksgiving mailing that has been completed each year for the last 12 years. The response from this special mailing is truly AMAZING! We thank the Lord for HIS love in sending these dear volunteer missionaries. Here in the attached photos you can see these dear folks as they gather together to complete this effort in Des Moines, Iowa.
