SPECIAL MEMORIAL SERVICE FOR MISSIONARY LEE UMLAND

The family of Lee Umland of Sioux City wanted to have a special memorial service at Mission Central. Lee was one of our most faithful Volunteer Missionaries.

Lee was called home on November 16th, 2018, and the entire family gathered at Mission Central on May 21st, 2021. The Umland Family owns the Ace Sign Company and have donated so many signs, pictures and our large, illuminated MISSION CENTRAL sign.

It was indeed a very special day, and Lee’s wife Sharon and the entire family enjoyed a special memorial supper also in the Ministry Center that was provided by our 3 volunteer cooks that are pictured in the attached photos, along with pictures of the family and activity for the special gathering. The family enjoyed a special presentation in the Lord’s creation theater and the barn museum.

All of us at Mission Central will always have a special place in our hearts for Missionary Lee Umland. It was an event we will long, long remember!
