SPECIAL LONG, LONG TIME FRIEND COMES TO SEE MISSION CENTRAL!
Longtime friends are special in this journey we call life! For nearly 60 years, the friendship of Retired Airforce Officer, James E. Sands Jr. and Gary Thies has been a blessing.
On September 2nd, 2021 just “out of the blue” Jim Sands came to visit old Missionary Gary at Mission Central. All the way from Puyallup, Washington. Jim and Monica Sands and their daughter Emily have been friends with Gary, and what a JOY to see this dear friend after all these years. After visiting friends and family in the Washta and Anthon, Iowa area….a quick trip to Mapleton provided an unexpected reunion.
What a JOY to recall all those old memories of mother and dad Sands, Jim and Hannah! It was a special blessing, and here you see Jim Jr. in front of our Boss here at Mission Central. He enjoyed his tour of this miracle place!
