What a blessing to see the leadership of Hope Lutheran Church at South Sioux City, Nebraska take the lead in reaching out the Hispanic people that God is sending to South Sioux City, and also to Sioux City.

Yes, under the leadership of Rev. Dr. Michael Awe, Senior Pastor of Hope Lutheran Church in South Sioux City, Nebraska a special new outreach to the Hispanic population has been established.  Assisting in this effort is Veteran Missionary Rev. Henry Witte, who served so faithfully many years in Venezuela and Panama.  Rev. Witte understands the culture and speaks the heart language of the Hispanic people.

This new effort has been established as a result of the combined efforts of the Nebraska District and the Iowa District West.  This new project is one that Mission Central is involved in and has a special Adoption Agreement for the assistance and support of this new effort.  Rev. Awe and Rev. Witte both came to Mission Central and had their picture taken with our Boss here at this Miracle Place.  This special agreement and mission opportunity is available to all the congregations, in the entire Siouxland Area, and also to families and mission minded people in the entire Mid-West!!!  We need prayers for this effort and support to keep this outreach going….

For more information as to HOW you can help with your prayers and support, please contact the staff at YOUR Mission Central.
