Please Pray for the Reopening of the Mission Congregations in the Dominican Republic after COVID-19 Shut-down

The Dominican Republic has begun to slowly reopen activity in the country. We are still under a state of emergency and a daily curfew but we can now leave our homes during the day to do many necessary activities. Grocery stores, book stores, printers, hardware stores etc have all begun to reopen. And our churches can also finally open again. The law currently permits only one church activity a week. We are looking forward to our first church service and reopening this Sunday June 7. Please pray for our pastors and mission team as we work to sanitize and clean the church, and make preparations for necessary safety and security measures with our worship service.

We will be using laminated cards for the worship service over the next month. These can be sanitized between each church service as to prevent the spreading of germs.

Please Pray with us for:

– The church in Palmar Arriba and our outdoor service on Sunday.
– The church in Pueblo Nuevo Sunday morning worship.
– For the ministry in Peru (The Peruvain government has not allowed them to return to physical worship yet)

We have started a facebook page so that we can share with you more updates and more often about the work and the things that we do on the field. Please check it out and give it a “like.” Please also share the info and invite others to hear about the work we are doing.

We are so thankful for your gifts and prayers! It would not be possible for us to serve as missionaries without your support at home. As the need to spread the Good News of Salvation in Jesus Christ with our world is constant so is the need for financial support for the missionaries and churches. We praise the Lord for sending us partners like you who understand this constant need and give as they are able to support it.
