MISSIONARY PILOT HELPS AT “JUST THE RIGHT TIME”!
Sometimes we get in such a hurry, we forget who is really in charge of all things! Who is in charge of our schedules and puts the right people at the right place at “JUST THE RIGHT TIME”.
The Lord really had things figured out for our schedule here at the Lord’s Mission Central for the weekend of November 16th and 17th, 2024! We were scheduled to make a presentation to the saints at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church at North Platte, Nebraska. What a long, long drive of 5 hours!!!
Then the Lord had that weekend all picked out for us, as it was one of the only most beautiful of the month, with both Saturday and Sunday just “perfect” for flying, and Volunteer Missionary Pilot, the Honorable Missionary Merlin Barr of Clarinda, Iowa just happened to have that weekend open and said, “Gary, I’ll fly you out there!”….and instead of a 10 hour round trip, we were able to make that flight out there in just an hour and a half! What a blessing!
That’s what the Lord can do…and we sure don’t have to say, “Boy, we were sure lucky!” No, our God is totally in charge of all trips and events and HE helps at just the right time! What a wonderful weekend with so many, many people who were NOT NORMAL!
