Taiwan is full of the darkness of idols and evil spirits. Last week, however, one home became quite a bit brighter, as our mission station’s Pastor Lu led a service to remove the idols and altar that had been used to worship false gods and ancestors in the home of Mr. and Mrs. Yan. The service, filled with prayer and God’s Word, ended with the removal of all the items, which would later be burned near our mission station. We continue to pray regularly for the Yan family, however, since while they asked for the items to be removed, they still do not yet confess Christ as their Savior. We pray that through God’s Word, His Holy Spirit would take the place of the evil spirits that were removed.
