Malawi Hunger Relief

LCMS Disaster Response grant provides maize for church members during a time of hunger.  In January 2019 the funds were received by the Confessional Lutheran Church – Malawi Synod (CLCMS) enabling them to purchase 950-50 kilogram bags of maize.  Rev. Davis Wowa (president of the church), his fellow pastors and executive members of the church distributed the maize throughout the nine congregations of the CLCMS. The church members that received maize expressed their joy through song and dance. Any additional funds will go to help the CLCMS Worship Structure matching Fund so that there are structures to worship as the Lord provides relief from hunger.
