LET’S TALK ABOUT A REAL “MIRACLE SUNDAY MORNING”!!!!
This story started on November 9th, 2000! Yes, 24 years ago Old Missionary Gary had the privilege of meeting the Honorable Missionary John Nikodym who was from Red Cloud, Nebraska at that time! Yes, Missionary Gary could tell IMMEDIATELY that he was truly “NOT NORMAL”…He was in the world, but not of the world. Jesus truly lived in heart of Missionary John Nikodym!
Since that time John moved to Grand Island, Nebraska and dear Janice is now in heaven waiting for us, but John continues to be a special missionary.
On Sunday, August 11th, 2024….Missionary Gary received a telephone call from his old friend, John, and he said, “Are you going to be home this morning?…I want to bring two young missionaries to Mission Central for a special tour, so that these young men can see what God has done there at HIS Mission Central. We are on our way home from Albert City, Iowa and we could stop at 10:00AM!”
What an absolute JOY to show John and his two special young friends, and we were able to pray together in our office and down at the little wayside prayer chapel and to have the privilege of providing a tour of the entire facilities here and a tour that these two young men will never, never forget! They made a promise to always keep Jesus in their hearts as long as they live!
