On the evening of January 2, the abandoned house next to the church property in Ponce caught fire. The house was burned to the foundation. The Church building itself is safe, however our Mercy House has sustained some damage. Thankfully the Mercy House was empty at the time and no one was harmed. We are thankful for all the firefighters and emergency personnel who responded to the fire. They worked tirelessly to prevent the fire from spreading fully to our property. We have cleaned as best we can, as we wait for when repairs can be made. We ask that you offer pray of thanksgiving for no loss of life. But we ask for prayers for patience as we navigate the proper channels to have everything fixed. God’s peace be with you all.
