Many of you saw in our last newsletter that Jeancarlos was headed to the US to continue his citizenship appeal with the US government. On April 17, 2019 he had his final interview and the citizenship exam, which consisted of a US Civics exam and a written and oral English exam. Praise the Lord he passed both of these exams and the Interview! On April 22, 2019 Jeancarlos participated in an oath ceremony and was officially made a US Citizen.

This is such a huge blessing for our entire family to have citizenship in the same country. Over the last week Jeancarlos has been busy going to the social security office, applying for his blue passport etc. Thank you to all of you who joined with us in prayer for this important event. Please join with us again in thanksgiving and prayers for his safe return this evening to the Dominican Republic.
