HISPANIC VISITORS COME TO MISSION CENTRAL!
On Tuesday the 2nd of February we were able to welcome Rev. Henry Witte from the Siouxland Hispanic Ministry from South Sioux City, Nebraska along with his special friend, Rolando.
Rolando is from Peru and came to the United States 18 years ago. He was confirmed at Hope Lutheran Church in South Sioux City, Nebraska. Rolando’s good friend and mentor is Rev. Henry Witte.
They came to discuss new ways to reach the Hispanic people of the Siouxland area, and also some plans on how to help some of the poorest of poor people in Peru. Rolando and his group have sent clothing and wheelchairs from the Orphan Grain Train to some of the poorest people in Peru located in the rural areas and mountains.
Currently Mission Central is supporting the Rev. Walterson and also a special children’s outreach project in Lima, Peru.
It was a special day and much was accomplished. Here you see these two special guests. Rolando indicated he was coming back for some more training and help with his pictures and presentation to the Hispanics of Siouxland.
