Throughout East Africa, there is a need for more understanding of how our bodies work and how to properly care for them in order to obtain good health. Coordinated medical support through the East Africa field nurse, LCMS Mercy Medical Teams, and local clinics provide teaching aimed to improve the health of local communities. Some topics include: hand washing, malaria prevention, proper nutrition, managing blood pressure, women’s health, and honoring God with our bodies.
