Iowa District West LWML Rally at Mission Central

On September 21st, 2019, we here at the Lord’s Mission Central were so blessed to have the Fall Rally of the LWML members of Iowa District West.  What an excellent turn out, and about 175 people were present to hear the Honorable Rev. Dan McMiller, Chief Executive Office of the LCMS International Missions give his presentation as the keynote speaker!  What a blessing to have the highest ranking International Mission Director with us.

Here you see Rev. McMiller, and some of the group that attended this amazing day long event.  It truly was a very, very special day in the History of the Lord’s Mission Central.  Many of the members commented that “they could have listened to Rev. McMiller for many hours!”  One lady commented, “Boy, that guy really knows his stuff!”

We had to use both our East and West Parking lots that were completely filled. It was one of those days and events that we will never, never forget.  It was a day we heard about the Lord’s missionaries around the world.  What a special presentation and great, great pictures and stories!  Thank you Pastor McMiller for taking the time to come to this place in the “middle of nowhere” to tell the story of how our LCMS missionaries are sharing Jesus with people in total darkness!
