Post-Earthquake Update
We have been humbled and touched to have so many of you reach out to us individually to inquire about our well-being. The earthquake earlier this week certainly shook us, but there was no damage beyond a few things that fell and broke. We and all your LCMS Taiwan missionaries are safe and healthy.
The main damage, injury, and death happened on the far side of the island from us, across a mountain range. The authorities are still determining the extent of the destruction. We pray for all those effected, and that the Lord would grant us opportunities to share His love and mercy in the face of such tragedy.
