Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
Greetings in the name of our Risen Savior. I know from your emails and notes that many of you are concerned for us being so close to the Ukrainian border in this time of tension. First I would like to thank you for your prayers and concern, and let you all know that we feel very safe here in Bucharest, Romania. Romania being a member of the European Union, and NATO we are better protected than in Ukraine. We also feel very safe because the Office of International Missions takes our security very seriously. Please though, keep Ukraine and its people in your prayers. They are in a tough position, but I thank our God and Father that our churches there are ready to preach the Gospel to the lost and administer the sacraments to their people no matter what Russia decides to do. Tyrants can rage, but Christ and His Word stand.
As I said In Romania we feel very safe, and the work of the church here progresses. In fact as we begin this new year, new work is afoot, but you will have to read our newsletter, linked below, to find out about it. All I will say is that I am very happy to see what the Lord has done for us this last month.
