What a blessing and joy to welcome a very special family for a full tour of the facilities here at Mission Central. What a wonderful group of folks that were able to see what our dear Jesus has done at HIS Mission Central.
Yes, on Saturday at 9:00AM on March 15th a special 5th grade missionary teacher from Immanuel Lutheran School at York, Nebraska, the Honorable Brian Staehr and his wife brought their son Owen Staehr and his wife and their 2 children. Owen is a student from the Fort Wayne Seminary and will be going out for his Vicarage this year!
Here you see this wonderful family with Brian and his wife in the center of the photo and Owen and his family on the right and left. They so much enjoyed their special tour that included all of the buildings and even the Resurrection Stone for old Missionary Gary!
Brian and his family came here on their way to the baptism of their grand daughter, who is the daughter of our dear missionaries Rev. Zachary Staehr and Emily our new pastor and his wife from Trinity Lutheran Church at Manilla, Iowa.
Brian and his family are so special….think of having 2 sons that are both pastors!!!! It was indeed a very, very special day that we will always remember!
