The LCMS Eastern and Southern Africa area more than doubled the number of missionaries serving here in 2016. The LCMS East Africa Field Office provides the space for collaboration between the Area Director and regional, area, and local staff who together direct and support the work from Sudan to South Africa. The Field Office provides the spiritual, emotional, physical, and logistical support for the missionaries, staff, projects, and relationships in this area. This project provides the funding for the East Africa Field Office including salaries for local staff, utilities, internet, security, and maintenance so that the Field Office can serve as a collaboration base for LCMS mission efforts in Eastern and Southern Africa.
