AMAZING “NOT NORMAL” COUPLE FROM PAPILLION, NEBRASKA ARRIVE AT THE WORLD-FAMOUS MISSION CENTRAL!

Here we go again…another MIRACLE STORY!!!  The first time Old Missionary Gary spoke at Immanuel Lutheran Church in York, Nebraska many years ago it was obvious that this congregation was truly NOT NORMAL!  They had a great, great love for the Lord’s Missionaries and have been such a HUGE, HUGE encouragement for all of us at Mission Central!  It was in the years that followed that I met Missionary Donna Rathje!  She will always have a special place in my heart.  Donna’s pastor was the Honorable Missionary Pastor Ben Kaiser, who came and provided the Lord’s Supper for Donna and always they had such a good visits.   Recently, the Lord called our friend Donna to our real home, and now she is waiting for us!

On the afternoon of June 29th, 2023 Donna’s daughter and son-in-law, Missionaries Peggy and Arnold Johnson from Papillion, Nebraska came to deliver a wonderful memorial gift for a special missionary family.  Donna loved to support missionaries, and the family knew that this would truly please Donna so much!!  Peggy and Arnold had never been to the Lord’s Mission Central, and what a JOY to give them a special tour and they were a bit “shocked” when they saw what the Lord can do in the middle of nowhere with an old set of farm buildings!!!!

Here you see the Johnson Family in our “trademark” area with our Boss in the background!  It was truly a wonderful day and a day we will NEVER FORGET!  God still puts “the right people at the right place at just the right time”.  People that know that the real missionaries are not necessarily those that cross the seas, but those that see the cross”!!!!
