Hot, humid, and sunny August greetings from Santiago! What is summer like where you are? The endless sunshine here is an excellent reminder of Psalm 113:3. “From the rising of the sun to its setting, the name of the Lord is to be praised!” Join with me in praising our Lord for who He is and what He does for us each and every day! Last month, Erin, Tirzah and I went on a hike! There is a trail in the mountains a mere 15 minutes from our neighborhood, and it’s absolutely stunning. It was a nice morning away from city life and exploring all the forests have to offer in the Dominican Republic, complete with some cows and a donkey (though farm animals are represented in city life here as well).
