SUNDAY AFTERNOON SPECIAL “NOT NORMAL” TOUR GROUP COMES TO THE LORD’S MISSION CENTRAL!

On January 8th, 2023 at 3:00PM a very, very special event took place at Mission Central!  Under the leadership of Rev. Merle F. Mahnken and Rev. Kurt Kaiser, the members of Immanual Lutheran Church of Schleswig, Iowa arrived for a tour and meal.  One would guess that only a small number would care to get out on a cold, cold winter Sunday afternoon, however this congregation is truly NOT NORMAL!

We were amazed to see that nearly 70 people came to enjoy a full 2 hour tour of the entire facilities at Mission Central!  The group enjoyed the tour of the Ministry Center, the Creation Theater, the barn Museum and the members of this congregation brought the food for a meal, and what a blessing to have these dear friends come on this special day!

Here you see the activity and action that the people enjoyed during their tour and time together.  It was a day that old Missionary Gary will never forget.
