The St-Onges In the Way: May 2019

Hard to believe another month has come and gone! Like many of you, I wish that the Lord had created an eight day week. But then, I suppose, the Devil would simply come behind and add an eighth day of work to do.

The picture above is from one of our neighborhood parks. As you can see, water levels swamped most of it – the park bench wouldn’t normally be mid-river. We sympathize with the many of you who are also experiencing flooding in the midwest. May Christ remind us that the Lord promised to never again destroy the entire earth by a flood; but local disasters remain a reality.
