In 1692 an earthquake hit the Jamaican capital of Port Royal, leaving much of it below water. Many felt this was God’s judgment on what was considered “the wickedest city on earth” (Google that phrase). The Giddy House, pictured above, was left sinking into the ground. That’s a great reminder of our mission – that even while we purchase and renovate buildings, they are only tools to build the house that really matters: the Body of Christ, that will rise and live eternally with Jesus.
