Yes, it is 2021. No, we still don’t have flying cars, a base on the moon, or asteroid mining. But we do have video phones, a global information database, ability to stream movies on demand in our homes, screens that are less than an inch thick, and even a global pandemic. Science fiction is not always wrong.

But 2021 is also a year like any other. It is a new year to spread the Good News of hope, peace, forgiveness, reconciliation and eternal life in Jesus Christ. By the grace of God and the power of his Spirit, that is what we will do together.
