AMAZING MEDICK FAMILY FROM CHEROKEE, IOWA

COME ON A SPECIAL MISSION!

On August 1st, 2020, we were so happy to welcome the family of the late Missionary Delbert Medick of Cherokee, Iowa.  Delbert was a very NOT NORMAL man….  He was a special man that loved the Lord Jesus and he loved the work of the Lord’s Mission Central.

Delbert was called to his real home, and the family gathered at Trinity Lutheran for a special service, with the Honorable Missionary Pastor Jonathan Riggert!  After the service, the family made a special trip together to visit Mission Central for a full tour of the facilities and for them to see what God has done here.  It was a special time.

However, what was so special was at the end of their tour, in the little chapel after the Lord’s Prayer, Delbert’s son, Duane, presented Old Missionary Gary with a gift in loving memory of Delbert!  The real miracle was the fact that this gift was one of the first gifts to help Missionary Barbara Rebentisch, who just accepted a call to go to Taiwan to bring people out of darkness there.  Barbara is the daughter of Arnold Hibbing of Paullina, Iowa and the Medick Family were overjoyed, because they know this family!  It’s a small world!

Our God is still a God of MIRACLES!  Here you see this special family in front of the sign at the Lord’s Mission Central!!!!
