SPECIAL FRIENDS ARRIVE FROM CEDAR BLUFFS, NEBRASKA!
It was one of those “cold and rainy days” and what a great deal of fun it was to welcome some very, very special NOT NORMAL people that came from St. Matthew Lutheran Church from Cedar Bluffs, Nebraska!
This entire group came under the direction of the Honorable Missionaries, Rev. Mark Weber and his dear wife Carol. What a blessing to have this group for a day tour, and we enjoyed a nice noon meal with the help of our Volunteer Cooks.
The group began in the office here at Mission Central and the group heard the story of the most reproduced picture in the world…the picture of Sallman’s Head of Christ that was painted in 1940, which featured the 5 hidden pictures!
The group then enjoyed a tour of the pictures in the Ministry Center and then the group enjoyed the Lord’s Creation Theater and the Barn Museum. It was indeed a very special day. Here you see this special group of folks in front of the statue of Jesus. It was a day that these friends will never forget.
