Dear friends in Christ,
Greetings from the Czech Republic!
As I sat down to write this month’s newsletter, and I pondered what the past few weeks have held, Ecclesiastes 3:7 came to mind. This verse reads, “a time to tear, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak” (ESV). As someone whose Czech language skills are extremely limited, I often am better suited to serve as listener rather than speaker. However, this month especially seemed to provide ample opportunities for me to hone my listening skills.
