Dear friends in Christ,
This month has been a whirlwind of activity with lots of travel. The highlight of this month’s newsletter is the week of English Bible Camps that took place here in the Czech Republic. I am eager to share a bit about what that looked like with you.
A hymn that my ukulele and I have played multiple times this month on different occasions, is the hymn ‘Be Thou My Vision.’
In a way, it has been my own personal hymn of the month. A verse that I have found particularly appealing is below.
Be thou my buckler, my sword for the fight.
Be thou my dignity, thou my delight,
thou my soul’s shelter, thou my high tow’r.
Raise thou me heav’nward, O Pow’r of my pow’r.
In the midst of lots of activities and new experiences, it brings me delight to consider Christ as a shelter for my soul. A place of rest and solitude. May your soul find rest in Him also.
