End of Summer 2020
News from the Ramirez Family

This summer we have had a busy time both in ministry and in our personal life. I apologize as a print newsletter went out the beginning of July recapping the month of May and June, however this newsletter did not get sent out electronically.
Today’s update is a review of the work in July and August and an end of summer updated. Please check out our facebook page for continued updates:

Ramirez Family Personal Update

The summer has been a wonderful mix of play and work. Jeancarlos has been enjoying a break from classes in the seminary. He has stayed busy helping out in the congregations, with bible studies, devotions, preaching, and generally pitching-in in the life of the mission.
We are thankful to have taken two weeks of vacation in July to visit family in Michigan and complete medical check-ups. Abraham, mommy and baby girl all received clean bills of health. We were able to set everything up for Baby Girl’s arrival in Michigan in Mid-November. After this vacation we unfortunately had to do two weeks of isolation and quarantine upon return to the Dominican Republic.
In August, two of our best friends on the mission field got married, a fellow seminary student from Venezuela and an American missionary. It was a joy to celebrate this importante moment with them. We are thankful for friends who become family on the mission field.

Please open up the PDFs for more stories and photos about how we have been sharing Jesus this summer.

Please Pray with us for:

We pray for the new academic year to begin at the seminary in September.

We rejoice for the confirmations this summer and continue to pray for the new members.

We give thanks for our VBS and pray for our evangelism efforts to the new families.

We rejoice with Pastor Osmel in Peru, at the birth of their first child.

Please pray for the Lord’s protection during hurricane season June-November 2020.

Please pray with us for Baby Girl’s healthy development and safe arrival in November.

We are so thankful for your gifts and prayers! It would not be possible for us to serve as missionaries without your support at home. As the need for missionaries is constant so is the need for financial support. Thank you for prayerfully considering the giving of your gifts to support the ongoing work of sharing of the Good News of Jesus with our world.
