Greetings!
First and foremost, know that our prayers are with each of you during this challenging, uncertain time. “May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope” (Romans 15:13).
Thank you for your prayers on behalf of the faithful laborers around the world who are balancing the demands of social distancing with those of being Christ’s hands and feet of mercy. By God’s grace, the Peru church planting team is providing virtual worship and instruction in the Word and attending to members’ needs of body and soul.
Please take the following actions regarding Peru’s 2020 FOROs:
- Read a summary of La Misión Luterana del Perú’s March 17 teleconference;
- Watch for an update on Wednesday, April 15, regarding plans for the FORO and ordination/installation currently scheduled for June 27-28 in Lima.
- Pencil in a regularly scheduled, in-person FORO for Thursday, November 5 – Monday, November 9 (including travel dates) in Lima.
