October Travels
October was occupied with two major trips – one to Thailand and the other to the Philippines. In Thailand I visited Bangkok, Phuket and Chiang Mail, all areas of ongoing ministry for the Thai Concordia Lutheran Church (TCLC), celebrating 20 years of official ministry in the country.
And for this visit to the Philippines I journeyed to a new area of the country – Mindanao, one of the southernmost islands. There I was blessed to work with Rev. Todd Roeske in ministering to the Tagakalau Lutheran Church of Christ in the Philippines (TLCCP).
Other than wishing the acronyms for these church bodies weren’t so similar, it was an amazing opportunity to learn, grow, and share with the larger body of Christ. Read more in our belated October newsletter.
