Community Health Evangelism
Community Health Evangelism (CHE) is an organization that empowers and equips God’s people to reach out to their communities with the love of Jesus. The training focuses on interactive lessons that encourage the participants to get involved. The goal is for the members of the community to solve the problems they have identified using their own resources. The types of lessons vary from health and disease prevention, agriculture, financial and overall wellness.
Missionary Stephanie Schulte (RN) is a trainer for this organization and has led many seminars on health and wellness. Stephanie was able to lead a “Training of Trainers” event online. Across the world several of our missionary collogues “Zoomed” in for 30 hours of training in five weeks. We are proud to say Krista is now a CHE Trainer.
As a certified trainer, Krista will be able to work with church leaders to identify people in the community who have a passion for God and their neighbors. These people can be trained to be CHE volunteers. A CHE trainer can go into homes of their neighbors to share the love of Jesus, and information about health and wellness. Through this type of visitation and discipleship, churches can reach out to their neighbors and transform communities with the love of Jesus. We are excited to see where God might use this opportunity to serve His people.
