Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

Grace and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ! Thank you all for your love and support as we begin this journey to share the greatest story of all – the Amazing Gospel!

The LCMS - International Center
The first week of August filled us with information, wisdom, and love through Missionary Orientation week in St. Louis, MO. The   team at the LCMS International Center worked diligently, allowing   us and two other new missionaries (Barb Rebentisch and Kelly   Haynes) the opportunity for in-person training, and befriending   some of our many teammates working on our behalf. It was   a wonderful, exhausting, and amazing week of learning.

After our training, the quartet of new missionaries ventured to Mapleton, IA to visit the world-famous Mission Central and Missionary Gary Thies. Gary imparted more excellent instruction, followed by a tour of the beautiful grounds. It was an unforgettable and Spirit-filled experience. If you have the chance to visit, we strongly encourage it! Back in Northern Colorado, we are full-time support raising to deploy to Belize as quickly as possible (hopefully mid-October) and learning Spanish. While English is the official language of Belize, many of the locals and small villages speak predominantly Spanish. The LCMS is providing in-depth Spanish instruction to set us up for success. We are blessed to learn more about our fellow missionaries serving in the Latin America & Caribbean region through Zoom meetings.

Vivit!
