Serving the Lord
in the Czech Republic

News from Peter and Lucy Hoffmann

An Unforgettable Journey

Our God is an amazing God. We rejoice and give thanks that we were able to be His servants in the Czech Republic.  We have had both set-backs and rewards.  But through it all, we have learned to trust the Lord for wisdom and direction.  It has been His mission and He has been faithful. Wherever He has closed a door, He has opened a window.  It is hard to believe that our time in the Czech Republic is coming to an end.  We will always cherish the relationships we have made and hopefully the seeds planted will bear fruit for future generations.  We never could have done this without your support, prayers and notes of encouragement.  We pray that many of you will continue to support missionaries both in the Czech Republic and around the world. Jesus is the way, the truth and the life.

This hymn captures, in melody, what our hearts reflect. So we will share it with you.

I Love To Tell the Story

A. Catherine Hankey, 1834-1911                          William G. Fischer, 1835-1912

1. I love to tell the story of unseen things above, of Jesus and His glory, of Jesus and His love; I love to tell the story because I know ’tis true, it satisfies my longings as nothing else can do.
2. I love to tell the story – more wonderful it seems than all the golden fancies of all our golden dreams; I love to tell the story- it did so much for me, and that is just the reason I tell it now to thee.
3. I love to tell the story-’tis pleasant to repeat what seems, each time I tell it, more wonderfully sweet; I love to tell the story for some have never heard the message of salvation from God’s own holy Word.
4. I love to tell the story, for those who know it best seem hungering and thirsting to hear it like the rest; and when in scenes of glory I sing the new, new song, ’twill be the old, old story that I have loved so long.

I love to tell the story! ‘Twill be my theme in glory- to tell the old, old story of Jesus and His love.
