Dear friends,

Alleluia! Christ has risen!

He has risen indeed! Alleluia!

Good news, I have gotten a 150-day visa for Taiwan. So this means that I will be traveling back to Taiwan on May 14th. Please continue to pray for my residency visa that I will reapply for once I land in Taiwan. Please also pray for an uneventful travel experience.

Lately I have been volunteering my time at a school in the nearby town. They have been in need of paraeducators to be in the elementary classrooms. Pictured above is my great-nephew Lincoln, a preschooler. I was placed in his classroom as a helper on May Day. We went to a nursing home to give May Day baskets and sing songs to spread some cheer to the residents. The preschoolers colored pictures for the baskets and the teachers added the candy and treats.

I remember when I was in elementary school and there were older students who came to read to us. Well this tradition has continued with third graders budding-up with the preschoolers to read some fun and interesting stories. Below is Lincoln with his reading buddy, Axel who is reading The Very Long Train by Eric Carle.
