“For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.” John 3:16 may be the most well-known verse in the entire Bible, even committed to memory by many of us. What a welcome reprieve to hear this familiar promise today. Faced with the continual challenges of life and our real struggle with the venomous fear of an uncontrollable virus, God’s response to our need in sending His One and Only Son lifts our eyes and hearts to Him in faith as we walk on our journey in Jesus.
