News from Peter and Lucy Hoffmann

Sidewalk Memorial Plates

The brass plates shown above are a vivid reminder of what happened to the Jewish people in the Czech Republic, including Olomouc, during World War II.  These plates are placed in the sidewalk in front of their last known residence.  They were never heard from again.  As we learn more about the Czechs, their distrust of religion and the atheistic effects of communism, we are making and taking important steps in our mission work in this challenging environment.    Please click on the link below to see more pictures from our city, read about our work and learn why we need your continued prayers and support.
