Greetings in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Things have been really busy here in Romania, please read the newsletter below about the baptisms, confirmations and even a wedding! God has been so good to us here in Romania and the Balkans.

Last year about this time we moved from Bucharest to Brasov so that I could work more with the church here and at our Lutheran center. It was a slow start at first but now the ball is rolling. I now regularly preach in Romanian. We now have both Sunday morning and Monday night worship. More and more events and being planned and implemented to reach out and witness to our community and the whole Balkans. Soon we will welcome three new missionaries here, a church planter, a Russian speaking vicar, and a deaconess focused on missionary care and humanitarian programs. It is such a blessing to see and be a part of this.

We are also in the process of producing our strategic plan for 2025-2026 and looking at all of the projects we want to do. This summer I spoke with a number of you who wanted to come and work in the field alongside us on short-term trips. I am hoping some of these projects can be just that. I wish I could tell you more, but they aren’t ready yet. Please pray for this planning process that the Lord would give us wisdom to focus on areas that will be fruitful. Pray also that He would give us the ability and resources to accomplish everything He would have us do.
