Project Description: Our missionaries travel many miles in an effort to garner support, move their families to distant lands to share the Gospel, establish long-term relationships within varied cultures, and every two years return stateside to repeat the process. Missionary Care identifies the tools employed to support and care for our missionaries and walk with them into generations-long service on this field. Annual gatherings of LCMS missionaries in the local area of east Africa provide an opportunity for focus on fellowship, rejuvenation, worship with Communion, counseling, and spiritual care. Provision is made for a retreat, host team, childcare and related activities.
