Nichelle Dykema serves the Lord in Peru. She coordinates and supports long-term and short-term missionaries and mission teams coming to serve in Lima, Peru. She also covers events and mission news in Peru to maintain ongoing communication between missionaries, supporters and the community.

Nichelle’s hometown is New Plymouth, Idaho, where her home congregation of Immanuel Lutheran Church is located. She received an associate’s degree in graphic design from the Art Institute of Pittsburgh (online division) and a bachelor’s degree in finance from Boise State University, Boise, Idaho. Before serving in Peru, Nichelle worked as a marketing coordinator, graphic designer, home stager and interior designer. In 2016, she participated on a short-term mission team to Nicaragua. Her hobbies include reading, painting, kayaking, hiking, traveling, weight lifting and running.
