Пожалуйста,open our October letter.
The days are getting palpably shorter here in St. Petersburg! But there is lots going on that we are hoping to share with you about what we have been doing over the last month. We spent a week in Odessa and I managed to finish (!) the Letter to the Romans–we went right up to the final allotted time. In the letter, I talk about our visit after Odessa to Riga, Latvia and a preaching seminar I led in Saldus, Latvia. And then it was off to Palanga–our 5th visit with the Lithuanian church. Look who visited Palanga while we were there: LCMS Pres. Rev. Dr. Matthew Harrison. And so, now we are back in St. Petersburg and teaching our regular round of classes once again. Thanks to the many folks who wrote concerning my mother’s passing last month. We appreciate your kind words and prayers. God be with you and bless you!
Yours in Christ,
