Blessings to you in this new year, 2022
Connie and I appreciate your readership, prayers, and support!
As we move into a new year and a new semester at the Rīga Luther Academy, I am changing hats for the semester–from professor to chaplain. I tell about the change in the letter; please click on the “button” below to find out more.
The semester started for the students on Monday, 10 January. Our students have all returned and we have also added two new students to the official enrollment. They include a pastor serving in Nepal, and our first student from Lithuania, a former Franciscan who desires to serve as a Lutheran pastor in his country. Thanks be to God!
With the continuing story of COVID and the world’s woes, God and His grace is our hope and stay. May the events that surround us lead us ever to Him who is the Name above every name.
Jesus! Name of wondrous love,
Human name of God above;
Pleading only this, we flee
Helpless, O our God, to Thee. (LSB 900:6)
Thanks again for reading, for your prayers and all that you do in the name of Jesus.
Yours in Him,
Chuck and Connie Cortright
