Dear Mission,

You’re connected.

Who are your neighbors?  Where does your family live?  Around the world!!

Meet Evandro, his wife Neiva and their son Leonardo.

They are your fellow Lutherans, members of our sister church in Brazil, currently living in Madrid. On our recent trip to Madrid in August they opened their home to us and treated us to this delicious Brazilian dish of feijoada, a black bean stew with cured meats from Brazil.  It was delicious and we felt honored that they shared a cherished taste of their homeland with us.  David, as well as other pastors of the Spanish Lutheran Church, have served them with Word and the Sacrament, their son was confirmed here, and we supported them with prayer and ongoing contact while Evandro successfully battled CV-19.  Soon they will return to Brazil, having become friends with more members of the body of Christ from North America, Spain, Venezuela, Portugal….

Your contributions are far-reaching!  Your prayers and your gifts impact people across the globe, as we serve as your missionaries.  God is multiplying your blessings as we use your generous donations to serve and bless others with His grace, His forgiveness, His saving gospel.

Here’s another connection:  While we served in Montana, David attended a couple conferences with pastors of our sister church in Canada.  There he met Rev. Garry Heintz.  Garry is now a missionary serving in France, in a congregation of our sister church in France, and guess what?  They asked the Spanish Lutheran Church to present at their annual Mission festival!  So David and Rev Lehman (our brother LCMS Missionary) are putting together a video presentation for them.  The connections within God’s family are amazing and His blessings are overflowing!

Your contributions are delivering the gospel beyond borders of countries into hearts of individual people, your brothers and sisters in Christ, the body of Christ, the Church.

How can we convey how truly grateful we are for YOU?

“Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly
than all that we ask or think,
according to the power at work within us,
to Him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus
throughout all generations, forever and ever. Amen.”
–Ephesians 3:20-21

We give thanks for you
and for the work God is accomplishing through us together, in Christ.
What an awesome God WE serve!

In Christ,
Pastor David & Shelee Warner
